Competition News - Due to our recent office move we have been unable to access our email database for the last few weeks. There has been such a great amount of interest in the competition that we are going to move the date for the end of the competition to 30th April and we will announce the winner on 9th May. This means all you people in far flung places will have plenty of time for your brochures to arrive.

COMPETITION TIME! To answer this question you will need access to the tour program/brochure that was on sale (and you can still buy it from the shop) on the last UK Squeeze Tour... Answers on an email to competition@quixoticrecords.com.
The Question: On the cover is a kind of photo-montage of 'Squeeze-land' where you will find many references to Squeeze songs or lyrics, some obvious, some rather more subtle... How many are there and what are they? The cover spreads over onto the back where the dates are but for the purpose of this competition, please do NOT include any references featured on the 'flyer'. (Someone else did the artwork for the flyer which we stylised for the program and we have no idea why there is a crucifix on it!). See thumbnail in left column.
The prize: 2 x Squeeze T shirts from the last tour (design - subject to availability).

The Small Print: The Judge's decision is final... If you spot some reference that was not intended (eg if you find a song where the word 'sky' is mentioned, then we are sorry but that won't count. The idea is not to find as many as possible but to find all the ones that were intended. We know this may make things a little ambiguous but we hope not too much. There are no 'tricks' so just have a little fun with it! All correct answers will be put in a hat and one winner will be picked at random.

Notice to anyone who has ordered from the shop since 7 January.
Due to our service provider upgrading the security on their secure servers (and forgetting to tell us!!), we are afraid that anyone who has made an order since 7th January will need to re-order. Do not worry about the security of the orders already sent. Nothing was saved and there is no record of them.
We can't apologise enough for the inconvenience. On the bright side, at least we now are running on even more secure script than before, just wish they had thought to tell us.

Glenn Tilbrook and The Fluffers are going to be on tour next October to promote their new album. Shows go on sale on Friday 30th November to the general public and can be bought in advance with this link from Wednesday.
We have been assured that in seated venues, the best seats are being held for this presale. |

Squeeze are doing a session on the Mark Lamarr show at midnight on BBC Radio 2 this Friday 23 November.
Glenn and Chris are doing an acoustic performance and interview which will also transmit this Friday 23rd on Jon Gaunt's show on talkSPORT. His show airs from 10am - 1 pm. |

Squeeze have formed their own new label 'Love Records'. The first release is Five Live which is a live performance CD recorded during their summer 2007 US tour. The album will be available from all shows, in the shops from November 26th and from our shop page from Monday 19th November.
There will also be additional download only songs available from www.squeezeofficial.com from Monday 26th November. |

In October Glenn is going to join the Love Hope Strength Foundation in trekking to base camp on Mount Everest to help raise money and awareness for cancer sufferers. Squeeze are delighted to announce a special warm-up show at The Albany, Deptford on Thursday 12 July prior to their headline slot at Guilfest on 14 July.
Tickets for this limited capacity show go on sale tomorrow (Saturday 9 June) from 10am to personal callers only to the venue and from 11am for online sales or telephone bookings.

The Powys gig on 20th May has had to be postponed due to circumstances out of our control. The gig will be re-scheduled to be included in the next acoustic tour that will be sometime next year. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused. Refunds are available from the venue. |

Who'd have thought it? This year sees the start of the re-release campaign by Universal and Warners of the entire Squeeze back catalogue. These releases are something that Chris and I are really proud of and so in support of this, we have decided to do a limited amount of shows as Squeeze. All information about releases and dates will be posted up here on a regular basis. - Glenn
