BBC Radio 2 to broadcast Squeeze concert live from Newcastle City Hall on 25/11/2010.
When Squeeze’s 22 date ‘Spot The Difference’ tour stops in Newcastle on 25th November, the evening will take a slightly different format. BBC Radio 2 will be broadcasting the Squeeze concert live-to-air within their weekly live music programme 'In Concert' from 8-10pm. In the first hour of the show, presenter Jo Whiley will be interviewing the band, including founder members Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford, before introducing them onto the stage at the Newcastle City Hall at 9pm.

Glenn is in Japan about to start another trek for the fantastic Love Hope Strength Foundation. This year they are climbing Mount Fuji to raise more money for bone marrow donation and cancer centres around the world.

You can also donate in Glenn's name at this link. Cancer seems to be too close to Glenn & Suzanne's family at this time so this trek is even more meaningful this year.

The Third demo CD is available at shows and in our shop from next week, priced £10. It will also be in all the usual shops in the next few weeks. It is called 'Dreams are Made Of This - Demo Tapes 1974 - 1980 and is the 3rd of 5 releases.
Also coming soon to the shop - 2 new T Towels designs. One says 'Fluffer' and the other says 'GLenn Tilbrook and the Fluffers'. We will also have egg cups soon and more sizes again of the black Fluffer shirts. These are now available at shows.

They are on a quest to raise money and awareness for a local cancer hospital in Nepal and set the Guinness Book of World records for the highest concert on land.
Proceeds from Everest Rocks are going to the purchase of the first mammography machine and the first internal radiation machine for the country of Nepal.

The Question: On the cover is a kind of photo-montage of 'Squeeze-land' where you will find many references to Squeeze songs or lyrics, some obvious, some rather more subtle... How many are there and what are they? The cover spreads over onto the back where the dates are but for the purpose of this competition, please do NOT include any references featured on the 'flyer'. (Someone else did the artwork for the flyer which we stylised for the program and we have no idea why there is a crucifix on it!). See thumbnail in left column.

Notice to anyone who has ordered from the shop since 7 January.
Due to our service provider upgrading the security on their secure servers (and forgetting to tell us!!), we are afraid that anyone who has made an order since 7th January will need to re-order. Do not worry about the security of the orders already sent. Nothing was saved and there is no record of them.
We can't apologise enough for the inconvenience. On the bright side, at least we now are running on even more secure script than before, just wish they had thought to tell us.

Squeeze have formed their own new label 'Love Records'. The first release is Five Live which is a live performance CD recorded during their summer 2007 US tour. The album will be available from all shows, in the shops from November 26th and from our shop page from Monday 19th November.

Squeeze are delighted to announce a special warm-up show at The Albany, Deptford on Thursday 12 July prior to their headline slot at Guilfest on 14 July.
Tickets for this limited capacity show go on sale tomorrow (Saturday 9 June) from 10am to personal callers only to the venue and from 11am for online sales or telephone bookings.

Who'd have thought it? This year sees the start of the re-release campaign by Universal and Warners of the entire Squeeze back catalogue. These releases are something that Chris and I are really proud of and so in support of this, we have decided to do a limited amount of shows as Squeeze.
